Why take your class with
Terry? First of all, we would like to say that there are
many wonderful trainers in our industry. One thing that
sets us apart is that in addition to eyeliner and full lip
color, we teach an eyebrow technique that results in a more
natural and soft look. The following photos illustrate a client
who had lost most of her eyebrow hair. You can see in the
before photo to the very left that she had almost no hair in her
brows. The end result looks like real hair. If fact, if you
closely analyze the close up of the finished brow to the right,
you can hardly tell which is real hair and which is not.
This is considered an "advanced" procedure in our industry.
However we teach our students this technique from the very
beginning, so that you will have more to offer your
clients once you return home and begin offering permanent
makeup. We also charge our clients a higher price for this
advanced type of work, and clients are willing to pay
You will learn makeup artistry, how to draw beautiful eyebrows including natural hair simulation which results in a soft and realistic brow, choosing the correct colors for each client, medical/health information, contraindications to permanent makeup application, and other information listed in our permanent makeup class curriculum. Classes are normally 2 to 3 students to ensure that students receive one on one attention. If a fourth student is present, we have an additional trainer assist during hands on work with live models. This is the industry standard for safety reasons, and you simply cannot learn this skill in a large class of people with one instructor present. The cost of tuition for this class is $2100.00 and includes pigments and other misc supplies . Please read our section on choosing a reputable permanent makeup school for more information. Included in the primary class is the OSHA bloodborne pathogens certification. Terry is an approved OSHA outreach trainer, and is certified to teach 10 and 30 hour OSHA general industry classes. Terry is also a licensed makeup artist, and includes the class "All About Eyebrows". Please view our links at the right of this paragraph for additional information on hotels in the area, enrollment forms, school policy, etc. NEW TRAINING FORMAT BEGINNING JANUARY 2010 ! After teaching for years, Terry has fined tuned the primary permanent makeup class so that students will benefit more while attending their hands on class in San Antonio. Students will be sent training materials to include lectures, books, and assignments that must be completed before your hands on class. Traditionally these lectures have been given during class where students take notes. However, because there is so much information packed into the lectures, we have found that some students have had "information overload", and difficulty retaining what has been covered. For our new format, we will be recording and sending these lectures prior to class, enabling students to listen to them several times if need be. Students will keep these lectures for future reference. There will still be a question and answer time during class in San Antonio so that any issues can be addressed. Subjects covered prior to class will include interviewing clients, medical histories and contraindications, OSHA bloodborne pathogens, states laws and licensing, professional liability insurance, professional organizations and taking board certification exams, how to draw beautiful brows, color theory, demonstration of equipment, needle choices and demonstration of techniques with machines and the Softap hand tool. We will send students a hand tool and practice materials to work with prior to class. We would like to stress that this is NOT a correspondence course. When arriving in San Antonio, students will work on practice materials, then spend the majority of class on lives models. On a personal

complete your initial training and have a few years of
experience working on skin, you will be ready to attend an
advanced permanent cosmetics training class such as areola
