PERMANENT MAKEUP CLASSES AND DATES

Why take your class with Terry?  First of all, we would like to say that there are many wonderful trainers in our industry.  One thing that sets us apart is that in addition to eyeliner and full lip color, we teach an eyebrow technique that results in a more natural and soft look. The following photos illustrate a client who had lost most of her eyebrow hair.  You can see in the before photo to the very left that she had almost no hair in her brows. The end result looks like real hair. If fact, if you closely analyze the close up of the finished brow to the right, you can hardly tell which is real hair and which is not.  This is considered an "advanced" procedure in our industry. However we teach our students this technique from the very beginning, so that you will have more to offer your clients once you return home and begin offering permanent makeup.  We also charge our clients a higher price for this advanced type of work, and clients are willing to pay  extra for it !!


At our school, you will complete all procedures on live models.  Our students learn  makeup artistry, how to draw the perfect eyebrow including natural hair simulation which results in a soft and realistic brow,  color theory, state/local laws on licensing a studio, medical/health information, contraindications to permanent makeup application, and other information listed in our permanent makeup class curriculum. Classes are  kept small to ensure that students receive one on one attention. This is the industry standard for safety reasons, and you simply cannot learn this skill in a large class of people with one instructor present.   Please read our section on choosing a reputable permanent makeup school for more information. 

Included in the primary class is the OSHA bloodborne pathogens certification. Terry is an approved OSHA outreach trainer, and is certified to teach 10 and 30 hour OSHA general industry classes. Terry is also a Certified Adriel Eyebrow Designer and Instructor, and includes the  class "How to Draw the Perfect Eyebrow". Also included in your primary class is an equipment package valued at $500.00! This kit has a machine and enough supplies to complete 15 procedures on actual clients once you return home.  We provide all items used during class so that you are not using needles, etc. out of your own kit. The kit has enough supplies to generate $4500 in sales for your business, and will more than pay for your tuition, travel and hotel expenses. 

Terry offers 5 day classes for beginning students. Additionally, she  offers a "shadowing" program . This is a free  program, and  is similar to a traditional apprenticeship. The shadowing program encourages students to return and observe procedures and consultations done by Terry.   This program builds confidence and affirms what students have already learned in their primary class. Again, there is no additional cost for the shadowing program.

Advanced Permanent Cosmetics Training and Paramedical Tattooing

Interested in learning the EASY WAY to do lip procedures???  If you find lip procedures challenging, we strongly encourage you to consider our advanced class "Magnum Lips".  This class is for experienced technicians wanting to learn a technique that simplifies lip procedures, and results in less trauma, more color retention, and few touchups.  For more information on "Magnum Lips", follow the link to the right on this page.

What is "paramedical tattooing"?  Once you complete your initial  training and have a few years of experience  working on skin, you will be ready to attend an advanced permanent cosmetics training class such as areola restoration or scar camouflage.  This type of work is usually referred  by a physician or medical professional. This type of tattooing should not be attempted by a new technician. Avoid a permanent makeup school or instructor that offers to teach this type of work in a beginning class. Our industry insurance companies will not even insure a technician for paramedical tattooing unless they have been working on skin for a minimum of 2 years.
